Way to go team!  A very strong showing and some excellent performances and PRs.  Congrats to Steve for his fantastic 5:18, with Blake not far behind at 5:24.  Great job Judith on your third place AG finish.  For the team, Kirsten and Steve had the fastest swim times; Kris and Steve both cracked the 3 hour mark for the bike, and Steve and Heli had the fastest run.

JFT2 team member Lavonne Finnerud leads the Seattle Luna Chix   Below is a message from Lavonne regarding upcoming workouts.

  •  If you are a woman and are a beginner/intermediate triathlete, our workouts may interest you. We will start hosting our weekly workouts in May, and they'll be on Wednesdays at 6:15 pm. The location and discipline varies. These workouts truly are for all ability levels, but because of the time constraints of meeting after work, the workouts are shorter so we tend to get more beginners and intermediate racers. We have people designated to lead and sag each ability level, so you'll be taken care of!
  • The workouts are a lot of fun and free!!!! There are always mini LUNA Bars and new LUNA Sport to be tried!
  • We also host monthly clinics to work on specific skills that raise $$$ for the Breast Cancer Fund. Our first one is this weekend and is a Bike Maintenance Clinic.

TEAM UNIFORMS ARE IN!!!!!

You can pick them up now at Montaland & McGrath!

Here is Stephen, enthusiastically modeling the full biking kit, and not so enthusiastically showing the run shirt (hates those shorts!)   Biking kit includes biking cap, short sleeve biking top, arm warmers, leg warmers and biking shorts.
