On Sunday, May 20, Jill and Jessie headed down to Hagg Lake, Oregon to participate in the Olympic Distance "Get Set Tri" event.  This race was a qualifying event for the upcoming USAT Age Group Nationals event, which will be held on the same course later this summer.  This event brought out some of the more serious competitors, and both of our JFT2 ladies had a strong showing.  Special thanks to Tom for the great race photos!

Jessie placed fifth in her AG, and thirteenth overall, with her time of 2:26:32.  Jessie had the fourth fastest bike split, at 1:15:56, and finished with a strong run of 52:31, and a very hilly bike and run course.  Jessie has compiled an excellent race report of the event, with even more pictures, here

Jill finished 4th overall, and 2nd in her AG, with a time of 2:17:48.  Jill had the second fastest bike at 1:14:18.  The swim portion of the event was quite short, and no T2 times were posted.  About half of the T1 times were recorded, and it looks like Jill and Jessie had the two fastest T1 times for this event (way to go ladies!).
